2022 CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR'S EVE MANDATORY DINNER NOTICE:
- A mandatory Christmas & New Year's Eve dinner fee for 2 adults will be collected at the resort upon check-in for new bookings crossing over, December 24 and December 31, 2022.
- Children and extra adults shall be charged on top of these rates to be collected by the hotel prior to arrival. Please see below Christmas & New Year's Eve Dinner rates for extra adults and children:
December 24 – Christmas Dinner at P3,500.00 net per person
December 31 – New Year’s Eve Dinner at P4,500 net per person

- Children aged 4 years old and below are entitled to free half board meals and children aged 5 to 11 years old will be charged 50% of the adult price for breakfast and dinner. Please note that the guest name on the reservation must be the same as the name on the card used to make the booking. The credit card used to make the booking must be presented upon check-in. Please contact the property directly for further details. Room rates on 24 and 31 December include a mandatory gala dinner for 2 persons only. The extra adult in the room or children 6-11 years old will be charged separately upon check-in. Boat transfers going to the island is available with interval of 2hrs. from 8am - 2pm. Boat transfers from the island to mainland is available with interval of 2hrs from 9am - 3pm.

In our continuing Effort to upgrade our facilities and maintain the highest standards of service at the resort, we wish to advise you of the following construction and renovation works at the resort:

1. Lobby renovation for 102 days starting March 20 to June 30, 2023.
2. Premier Deluxe Rooms Renovation (Room numbers 101-110) for 148 days starting May 20, 2023 to October 15, 2023.

During the term, renovation areas will be partitioned off, but noise may be generated during daytime (scheduled for 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily). We regret that guests may hear noise from the construction work during this time

If you are going to have cocktails on your menu, you need to do better in making sure staff know how to make a good one, yes they are inexpensive at your resort but they are terrible… I would rather pay more for something that was more akin to the cocktails you suggest they are, not good enough for a four star resort,,, other than that food was reasonable

We love the huge outdoor swimming pools, they're great especiallly if you have kids...and the the breakfast buffet had a good selection.

Bad Food: The food at the restaurant is VERY BAD, don't order lunch or dinner from their menu. I ordered chicken inasal which looked and tasted like it has been cooked for days like a left over food. The same with the adobo rice, pasta and nachos...please don't serve food if they had been sitting in the kitchen for hours...you can smell and taste that they're about to turn bad...it is a health risk...but breakfas was good so I wonder if they have different cooks who did the breakfast. Rocky beach: The beach is rocky and there was no white sand...

The beach is.....sorry... non existing and ugly. Muddy stoney Beach front where you can't swim snorkel or relax. Maybe you can kayak. That's all. If you want a beautiful beach you need to travel 4 to 6 km away from blue water We paid 23k pesos for 2 days, I think it is way over priced. Did we enjoy ourself ? yes Would we come back? Prolly not

A Great Stay. We will be back

All Staff were excellent. Very welcoming. The pool restaurant offers good menu and drinks. The rooms were superb. Clean. It met our expectations. Our driver was very professional picking us up from the Pier and taking us back. The reception staff were excellent welcoming us and arranging our all requirements Breakfast food were excellent. Great choices

The Beach. We were not able to swim as it's too rocky. not sandy. that was disappointing.

Overall the experience was great throughout our stay.

I like the Staff very professional and helpful made my whole family feel so welcome. The food was great especially my now favorite adobo rice highly recommended

The one-bedroom villa was great with its private pool. The restaurant provides good food but quite expensive for Philippines. Staff is professional, helpful, polite. Many equipments are free to use: snorkeling, kayaking...

Food, SPA are expensive inside the resort.

We were not notified they were doing building works and while it wasn’t so noisy or too disruptive we should have been notified they were doing renovations on the rooms .

What was the highlight of Bluewater Panglao Resort

- beautiful resort - very friendly staff - beautiful rooms - amazing bathroom (although not enough water comes out of the shower and bath tub)

- the hotel didn't provide any body milk and hair combs even after we asked for it (something i'd definitely expect at this level) - transport to alona beach is poor: only 4 shuttles a day Or paying 100 pesos per way with a "tricycle". Given that it takes 5 minutes, 100 pesos is far too much. As a comparison, it cost us around 200-300 pesos for a 45 min ride. Given the price of the hotel, this should be provided for free. Or at least the hotel should try to get a fair price for their guests. - breakfast is very poor. Again, for the price i expect better quality. - Water cooker smelled to curry or similar - beach flag is set to red after 5 pm, even if there is perfect weather and visibility - complicated schedules on when the resort facilities open and close - very little water comes out of the shower - they offered to organize a snorkeling tour for 4500 pesos. We got the same one for 2000 at alona beach. There didn't seem to be any good reason for the price difference.

What was the highlight of Bluewater Panglao Resort

Lack of sandy beach aside, I love everything about Bluewater. We came to Panglao to relax and disconnect. Whilst a sandy beach front property wouldve been great, the lack of didnt ruin our vacay. The resort was fully booked at the time of our stay but it was never too crowded in any area of the resort. The resort is well appointed, and staff is just amazing - from pick up, check in to meals and up to check out. On day 1, we visited Alona Beach so we can get our fix for long stretch of white sandy beach. On day 2 we did the Bohol Tour -- Tarsier, Loboc River Cruise and Chocolate Hills. On day 3 we went island hopping - Balicasag Island for dolphin watching, snorkelling at the fish sanctuary and pawikan/sea turtle watching, and then Virgin Island last. We arranged all of this with the Hotel, which was so convenient -- a little bit pricier compared to getting the tour booked outside the hotel, but you pay for the convenience. I also tried the Hilot Lamang at Amuma, the in house spa --- it was amazing! Again, a tad pricey compared to getting a massage in Manila but is worth the splurge.

The only thing I wasn't too keen about (but by no means a deal breaker for me) was the lack of the typical beach front appeal. Bluewater's location is cliff side -- they worked around what they had, trimmed off the cliff's edge so it slopes and connects to the water. That said, there were more pebbles and rocks than sand. The Bluewater receptionist was upfront about this when she gave us an overview of the property when we checked in, which I greatly appreciated. Although admittedly, I missed this bit of important information when I was booking/making the reservations via Booking.com

The room, especially the bathroom, is spacious. Love the design of the hotel. The little path leading to the restaurant is beautiful and we had a great time playing frisbee at the large pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were disappointed at the beach. I learnt from the hotel that it is a man-made beach. The sand is coarse and you would not really want to swim at that beach. The food at the restaurant was okay (don't try the oysters) but I think there would be better options out there in town.

the room rate is way over pricey and their food is alrdy cold when they served it to us and if u have excess person then u hve to pay 2,000 pesos extra for the breakfast buffet that is not even worth 2,000pesos and the beach u cant even swim on it coz its dirty...

We love the food, a bit pricey but it was good. All the staff are very polite and accommodating.

Never got the chance to swim at the beach. It was dirty. Water was not clear unlike other beaches.
